Sue Tinsworth works beside Rob Isaachsen in Transforming Melbourne, and now leads Partners in Prayer, Australia. She expects to see revival in Australia – a united and functional Body of Christ reflecting light, hope, love, righteousness and social justice to all people groups. Sue is married to David Tinworth, they have two wonderful adult daughters and one son-in-law.

Tom Navanua

House of Restoration

Tom Navanua has set up House of Restoration, ministering to hurting people in Melbourne, Fiji, PNG, & Australian Indigenous communities. Tom comes to us from NZ. He & his wife, Rachel, have two young sons.

Conference Report

There was a shift of focus for our “Hearing the Heart of God” Conference in 2008, looking ahead to what God has to say for the future.

We were encouraged to stay close to God and hear his heart by Sue Tinworth (Prayer Coordinator, Transforming Melbourne) in the morning. There were two parts, for ourselves - the wonder of God, and for the church - how to listen to God’s Heart for Australia. In the afternoon, Tom Navanua (House of Restoration) was passionate, with illustration, about the church’s role in showing the Love of God to others. At the close of the day people were quick to come for prayer and anointing.

Training Course Report 2008

The RESTORATION Course this year enjoyed new facilities at Christ Church Dingley. We were blessed that Pat taught one session each month. Participants and Team members were from a number of different churches. Participants who completed the course in October were commissioned to use the training in their everyday lives.

Ministry Report November 2007

RESTORATION material continues to be used in many churches throughout Victoria. Sometimes the course is studied within a local church, and at other times as a teaching course when a particular church invites interested churches and those individuals interested in healing prayer ministry to join them.  We have been encouraged by the number Restoration training courses run in 2007 and by the wide acceptance of the teaching material by the different denominations. RESTORATION Training courses were held at Anglican Churches in Leongatha and Frankston, at Box Hill South Apostolic Church, Warrnambool Baptist, Stawell Church of Christ and Wendouree Uniting Church.

We are filled with thanksgiving and praise to our wonderful Lord as we see His command to preach, heal and deliver being carried out throughout the body of Christ.

A number of churches, both suburban and country have already purchased our material for use in 2008:  Springvale, Ringwood, Lilydale, Ballarat, Bairnsdale, Drouin district and various others..

One of the highlights of the year was the great privilege we had of inviting Dr Charles Kraft to speak at our Conference “I Give You Authority”.  Thankfully we were able to share costs with Churches in South Australia and Perth.  “Australia for Christ Fellowship” at Rowville was an ideal venue with plenty of parking and a very supportive and helpful staff. Approximately 400 people attended the two day Conference and many DVDs and CDs have been ordered. Everyone who sat under Dr Kraft’s teaching was blessed and inspired as they learnt of the authority Jesus has given to each of His followers.  DVDs and CDs are available from Alan Coleman.

RESTORATION has been blessed this year to have John McLean as worship leader and we were specially blessed to have John, Gary Heffernan and Sheryl Minns lead our times of worship at the Charles Kraft Conference.

We are grateful to the Vestry and members of CCD for their encouragement and support and would appreciate prayer for this important outreach ministry arm.

2007 Conference - I Give You Authority!

with Dr. Charles H. Kraft BA BD PhD

Dr Charles Kraft is an anthropologist and linguist whose work since the early 1990s has focused on inner healing, deliverance and spiritual warfare.

He has taught and ministered worldwide. Currently, he serves as Professor of Anthropology and Intercultural Communication at Fuller Theological Seminary.

The author of over 20 books, including I Give You Authority, Deep Wounds - Deep Healing, Defeating Dark Angels, and Confronting Powerless Christianity, he writes and teaches about biblical Christianity and culture, cross-cultural Christian theology and worldview, spiritual warfare and inner healing.

Conference Report

Our 2007 Restoration Conference, "I Give You Authority", with Dr Charles Kraft was most successful. Many thanks to those who prayed.

Four hundred attended over the two days from suburban and country Victoria. A group from Stawell left home at 4:30am to be on time - and we complain at the hour we had to get up! Some came from Singapore, and a group from Malaysia will be attending the Conference in Perth. It was great to see the interest of so many Christians in the subject of our authority in Christ, and best of all was that a good third of those who attended were men, and a number of them quite young men. So we need to keep praying for even more to be involved in healing prayer ministry...

Dr Kraft is very easy to listen to, because he teaches from his own experience and ministry.
